When were you punished?: April 16th 2022 at around 1:40am EST
Reason for appeal (explain yourself & why you want a second chance): First of all, sending a link to a meme that someone else says is an IP grabber is not a bannable offense according to the rules. I mean, the ban message itself says I was banned for posting a fake IP grabber. There is zero harm done if it's fake. Secondly, I had been arguing with the person who claimed my link was an IP grabber for the past half hour before the ban. Me being me I joke around about it and say "yeah it's an IP grabber" because you know, there's nothing in the rules saying that is prohibited. Why should I be banned for saying something is an IP grabber after others claim my meme was an IP grabber with zero evidence? Isn't that just as bad as joking about it? I'm also concerned about how you got this information. I was asking mods for help with something and I didn't get a response but as soon as someone posts a link you guys are on it. I don't even think there was a mod in the chat at the time so I don't know how I was reported. Screenshots with missing context or even old chat messages where you can't see the whole conversation are poor evidence to give any punishment, especially a five day ban. Anyway, I've been looking to take a break anyways so the ban will help if this is not reversed. I would like to get some more money though. I guess I won't post links to things anymore. Thanks.
